CHOOSING THE RIGHT PLACE
This is the most important part of kitchen gardening, even before collecting tools you should decide the right place for kitchen gardening. Outdoor plants mostly require lots of sunshine and fresh air. Some decorative plants do not need much all these facilities but still vegetables, herbs and fruit plants require much of it. So, you have to decide a place and direction where you can get plenty of light and fresh air.

Kitchen Gardening Directions
Directions are very important in kitchen gardening. Use a compass to locate the direction of your lawn or watch in the morning the direction of the sun. Sun rises in the East and sets in the West, stand while you are facing East, West is at opposite direction i.e. your backside. Now, the south will be at your right-hand side while North is in the opposite direction i.e. your left-hand side.
